William Beckman

William (Bill) Beckman passed peacefully on October 3rd, 2020. Loving husband of Rose Beckman and devoted father to John, Sally (Stash Chmielewski), Joseph (Kathy), Michael and Bill (deceased) along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lover of recliners, big screen tvs and his faithful dog, Duke. Bill served as a US Navy corpsman during the Cuban missile crisis. We will always be reminded of his fondness for John Wayne and to "talk low, talk slow and dont say too much". After an honorable discharge from the navy our dad enjoyed a successful career as an administrator in the medical field. He was employed at Albert Einstein Medical Center, St. Mary's Hospital and other healthcare facilities. OUR dad loved his work until he retired in his mid 70's. Due to the covid pandemic and other family considerations, a memorial service shall be planned on a future date.
