Wayne Hildebrand

Wayne J. Hildebrand passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Wayne proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Gunston Hall LSD 5 from 1966–1970. After his service, Wayne was a U.S. mail carrier for many years and a security guard at Abington Hospital before his retirement.

Wayne loved his time with his family the most. His sense of humor kept everyone laughing, always. His love for his wife, sons, and grandson was the light of his life. He loved animals, and his dogs Ace and Bishop were dearest to his heart.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Hildebrand, his father, George Hildebrand, and his son, Keith Hildebrand. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy; his brother, George Hildebrand; his sons, Jason and Justin; and his grandson, Noah. He is also survived by his loving daughters-in-law, Christie Hones Hildebrand and Rebecca Hildebrand.

Interment and full military honors will be rendered at Washington Crossing National Cemetery privately at a later date.
