Virginia M. Nowaczyk

Virginia M. Nowaczyk (née Murphy) passed away on May 15, 2026. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” P. Nowaczyk. Devoted mother of Kevin (Danica) and Christopher (Renee). Loving grandmother of Joshua, James, and Meghan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Gerry Nowaczyk, and brother-in-law, Ken Nowaczyk.

Virginia was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Education and became a teacher in Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Virginia greatly enjoyed visiting thrift stores in search of hidden treasures. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to remember Virginia and gather on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 12-1:30pm at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila., PA 19137. Parking on premises. A religious service will follow at 1:30pm. Interment will be held privately.
