Viola Dubeck

Viola DuBeck, beloved Mom, Grandmom, Granny, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many passed away on Saturday, February 27th, 2021. Vi was born in Port Richmond, Philadelphia on June 4th, 1927 and resided in Bridesburg for 70 years. Loving wife of the late Edward (Nick) DuBeck, Sister of Gertrude (Trudi) Joseph, the late Victoria (Bunny) Zukowski and James Mulrine. She will be sadly missed by her three children Edward/Nicky (Jacky), Karen Hickey (Bob Sullivan) and Patty Gugliotta (Sal). Grandmom will always be remembered by all of her Grandchildren, Nicole, Shane, Danielle, Shannon, Kelly, Sal, Nick and Marissa. Her fourteen Great-Grandchildren will have beautiful memories of their Granny. Many nieces and nephews will also miss their Aunt Viola / Cioci Vi. Vi loved spending time with family and friends. Anyone stopping in for a visit would always find her on the sofa knitting or crocheting. She enjoyed the nicer weather outside socializing with her neighbors. The patio won't be the same without her. There will be no Goodbye, just Happy Memories that will always remain in our heart. Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 9:30am - 10:45am at St John Cantius Church 4410 Thompson Street Philadelphia, Pa 19137 Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to the United Veterans of Bridesburg c/o Gary Roman 2613 Ash St Philadelphia PA 19137.
