Ronald Joseph Findlay passed away on October 1, 2026 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Nelson). Dear son of the late John and Margaret Findlay. Loving dad of Ronald Findlay (Yelena), Brian Findlay (Sue) and Billy Findlay. Devoted Pop Pop of Amanda, Ellie, Anastasia, Kristen Duffy (Collin), Kaitlyn Findlay and Brianna Findlay. Ronald is the brother of Kathy Stewart (Bobby) and the late Margaret Young, Jack "Yogi", Pete, Billy Findlay and Joanne Walker. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Ron proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician for Local 98. Ron loved playing softball for many years in various leagues. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies supporter, proudly keeping his Eagles season tickets at Vet Stadium. His true love was spending his day with his grandchildren, cheering them on from the sidelines at their games. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Wednesday October 7, 2026 from 10am-12noon at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St. Phila., PA 19137 (Parking on premises). Words of remembrance will begin at 12pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
