Rita Frankowski

Rita S. Frankowski, 98, of Port Charlotte, Fl. passed away on September 3, 2024. She was born and raised in the Bridesburg section of Phila., PA and has been a resident of Florida since 1988. Beloved daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Frankowski. She was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Frankowski, Jr. sister Gloria Frankowski and Aunt Kay Gendek. Survived by many cousins in the Frankowski and Korecki families.

Rita retired from Western Electric where she worked for over 35 years, climbing the ladder from typist-clerk, to executive secretary then promoted to Office Supervisor.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery on Mon. Sept. 16 at 10:30 am, followed by Burial in the Shrine cemetery alongside her family. A memorial Mass will be said at a later date at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Port Charlotte Fl. Donations in Rita’s memory to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Rd., Doylestown, PA 18901 would be appreciated.
