Michael "Pickles" Wendowski

 Michael “Pickles” Wendowski, 75 of Bridesburg, passed away peacefully at home.  Michael was lovingly raised by his grandmother Josephine and aunt Vicki, in Bridesburg, where he resided his whole life.  Michael is survived by his brother Walter Wendowski, the love of his life, his baby, Theresa (Gallagher), step-children: Vincent Gallagher (Kristen), Sean Gallagher, Patrick Gallagher (Miriam), Theresa Gallagher (John), Eric Gallagher (Cindy), beloved grandchildren: Vincent, Dominic & Nicholas Gallagher, Joslynn & Johnny Sadowski, Gabrielle Gallagher, & Peyton Davis; Nephews Nicholas, Chris, Kevin, Franny and he was beloved by many friends.  Michael owned and operated Pickles Pub in Bridesburg for over 25 years and was a proud member of Point No Point social club for many years.  Michael loved spending time at his mountain home with his baby.  He loved hunting with his buddies, spending time with his  family, and especially loved the precious time spent with his adoring grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Satruday, April 22, 2023 beginning at 9am at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila., PA 19137. Services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
