Kathleen M. Malishka

Kathleen M. 'Tootsie' Malishka, age 65, passed away on December 10, 2025. Dear daughter of Thomas Gleason (Mary) and the late Margaret Reid (nee Smith). Beloved wife of Thomas J. Malishka. Loving mother of Marion ‘Bubz’ Wilson (Chris), Tesse Norwood (Brandyn) and stepmother of T. 'Alex’ Malishka. Also sadly missed by her grandchildren Cannon, Jack and Grady. Kathleen is the sister of Peggy Hughes (Jim), Claire Gleason, Genny Gleason, Tim Gleason (Jodi), Ellen Foley (Mike), Moira Gleason and the late Thomas Gleason (Lisa).

For 35 years, Toots dedicated her hard work and warm spirit to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, retiring with the deep respect of her colleagues. Known for her kind soul, her unmistakable sense of style—always “cute as can be”—and her ability to light up any room, she was truly the life of every party. As the self-appointed CEO of Party Time Party Hats, she made every celebration joyful, vibrant, and full of laughter.

Toots’ love, humor, and unforgettable presence will be cherished forever by those lucky enough to have known her.

May her beautiful spirit continue to shine in the memories she leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Services 12 Noon. Int. Private.
