Julius C. Buchholz

Julius "Sonny" Buchholz on June 29, 2020. Husband of the late Caroline 'Carol' Buchholz (nee Turlinski). Beloved father of Gary Buchholz (Eileen), Karen Norcross (Richard), Julie Oppenheimer (David) and the late Paul Buchholz and grandfather of Jennifer, Thomas, Lauren, Richard, Matthew and the late Kristen and great-grandfather of Emily, Taryn, Nathan and Kaleigh. Also sadly missed by his brother Richard Buchholz and sister-in-law Christine Ponichtera (the late Robert). Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, July 2, 2020 beginning at 9 AM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. John Cantius Chapel. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sonny's name to either the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila. PA 19103 or Bayada Home Health Care, 4300 Haddonfield Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109 would be appreciated by his family.
