Joseph W. Piffer

Joseph W. Piffer, age 85, passed away on July 24, 2022. Husband of the late Louise (nee Madden). Beloved father of Joseph W. Piffer (Carol), Charles Piffer (Donna), Robert W. Piffer (Darcella) and Louise C. Lorino (Michael). Also sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his brother Frederick Piffer. Joe was a Philadelphia Firefighter for 32 years. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Friday, July 29, 2022 beginning at 9 AM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Services will begin at 11 AM. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to the Local 22 Widow's Fund, Local 22, 415 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 would be appreciated by his family.
