John M. Muszynski

June 9, 1933 — September 4, 2015

MUSZYNSKI John M. 'Moose' Muszynski on Sept.4, 2015. Husband of the late Loretta (nee Janczewski). Beloved father of Keith (Alice), Nadine (Scott), Donna and Mark (Catherine). Also sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, his girlfriend Johna E. Worth, his brother-in-law Casey Janczewski and nieces, nephews and their families. Moose as he was known, was a Korean War Veteran, US Army - 25th Division Medic, formerly employed by Quarters Masters in South Philly, Rohm & Haas Co. and Ozzie's Corner Tavern. He was a member of St. John Cantius, American Legion Post 821 (past Commander), VFW Post 2 (past Commander) AMVets Post 100, American Legion Post 396, Rocky AC, FUGGOWEE, Polonia, Point No Point and the Juniata Fancy Brigades Mummers. Proud founding members of the United Veterans of Bridesburg Memorial Day Parade, of which he served as Parade Director for over 30 Years. Relatives, friends and the America Legion Post 821 are invited to his viewiing Wednesday evening 7 to 9 PM at the Slabinski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila. Pa. 19137 and again on Thursday beginning at 8 AM. Funeral Mass 10 AM in the St. John Cantius Chapel. Int. Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Moose's memory to the Bridesburg Memorial Day Parade, c/o the United Veterans of Bridesburg, Gary Roman, 2613 Ash St., Phila. Pa. 19137 would be appreciated by his family.
