Joanne T. Specht

Joanne T. Specht, 62, passed away on August 3, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Joan Miszak; beloved mother of Joseph J. and Christopher M. Specht; and dear sister of Deborah Krysztoforski, Lori Houseman (Craig) and Grace Garofolo-Schwab (George). She will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and one great nephew. Joanne worked for many years as a nurse at the Wills Eye Surgery Center. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, August 11, 2025 beginning at 10 AM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Services will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's memory to either the Paws Adoption Center, 100 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19006 or the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road - Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 would be appreciated by her family
