It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Hibble. He suddenly passed away at 24 years old on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. James was a lifelong resident of Bridesburg and graduate of Franklin Towne Charter High School. He was a loving, free spirit with a heart of gold. He loved, and he loved hard. If you knew James, you would know he had a way of putting a smile on anyone's face. His sense of humor was unique, yet contagious; he was definitely one of a kind.
Unfortunately, James was suffering from PTSD for many years, and due to a fatal car accident (8/25/2020) caused by a drunk driver resulted in him losing the love of his life. And though James was active in his recovery, after 299 days of being clean, he lost his strength. He lost his way.
His mother, Diane, and his brother, Tyler, are just heartbroken and missing him terribly already. He is also survived by his grandparents James and Sharon Hibble, his aunt Maria, uncle Bill (Kris) aunt Leigh, aunt Karen, and many loving cousins and his brothers in recovery. He is also the son of the late Jamie.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather Monday October 19th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street. His graveside service will follow at 12 noon in Magnolia Cemetery, 4500 Levick Street, Philadelphia. Your donations to his go fund me page at
