Jaelynn Melso

Jaelynn Marie Melso, 19, passed away on May 3, 2026. Born on March 11, 2007, Jaelynn brought light, creativity, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was the beloved daughter of Joseph Melso Jr. and Jenna McGrath, and a cherished sister to Joseph Melso III and Jamison Melso. She was deeply loved by her grandparents, Joseph Melso Sr. and Michelle Melso, and Dean Coleville and Sissy Coleville, as well as her great-grandmother, Phyllis McGrath (GG). Jaelynn also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who became family throughout her life.

Jaelynn graduated from Franklin Towne Charter High School in 2025. She had a beautiful artistic soul and a passion for music. She had an incredible talent for drawing and could create almost anything she imagined. Her creativity reflected the way she saw the world — full of beauty, emotion, and possibility. More than anything, Jaelynn treasured the time she spent with her friends and family. Her laughter, kindness, and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will never fade. Jaelynn will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her celebration of life on Saturday May 9,2026 from 10am until 12 noon at slabinski Sucharski funeral home, 2614 Orthodox St. Phila., PA 19137. Parking on premises. Interment will be private.
