George Sauerwald

George Sauerwald, age 74, longtime resident of the Bridesburg community in Philadelphia passed away on August 14, 2025. Beloved son of the late Frederick and Ellen (nee Holman) Sauerwald. Deat brother of the late Ellen McAllister, Eleanor Matlack, Joseph Sauerwald, Frederick Sauerwald and William Sauerwald. George will be sadly missed by his niece Sue Conroy (David) and his nephew William Sauerwald, Jr. (Michele).

Relatievs and firends are invited to his viewing and funeral Wednesday evening, August 27, 2025 from 6-8pm at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St. Phila., PA 19137. (Parking on premises).
