Dorothy Boylan

Dorothy Boylan ne Sachs, born April 20,1955, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred Sachs, and the beloved companion of George. Dot was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and will always be fondly remembered for her wit, loyalty, and love for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Dot loved music and funny movies, and would always have us in stitches laughing with her spot-on impressions of her favorite movie moments, something we'll all miss dearly. She always had a camera in her hand, ready to capture memories with friends and family. Dot was a wonderful sister who was always there when we needed her. She touched many people's lives with her caring nature, and always wanted the best for everyone. Our sister Dot was beautiful inside and out. Dot is survived by her siblings, Robert J. Troy (Sue), Harry Sachs (Anna), Mildred Donnelly (James), Jean Byers (Kurt), Marie Collins, August Sachs (Janet), Theresa McGowan (Joseph). Dot is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dot was predeceased by her sisters, Mary McSorley and Caroline McConnell. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday August 25th from 10 AM to 11 AM in St. John Cantius Chapel 4400 block of east Thompson Street. Her funeral mass will begin 11 AM and her interment will take place in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers your donations to ShrinersChildren.org would be appreciated by her family.
