Dolores Lemanowicz

Dolores T. Lemanowicz (née Zagorski), 94, returned peacefully to her Savior on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was predeceased by her parents, Jozef  and Tekla Zagorski; her husband Edwin A. Lemanowicz; her siblings Sylvester (Mary), Stella (Joseph), Casimir (Laura), Stephania (Charles), Walter (Laura), Mary (Walter), Edward (Mary), John (Bridgette) and Francis (Natalie). She is survived by her children Thomas Lemanowicz, Patricia  DiGiacomo (Jody), James Lemanowicz (Dianne), Steven Lemanowicz (Candy), Mary Muccie (the late Anthony), Susan Fiocco (Joe) and Joan Link (Jim).  Also sadly missed by 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Dolores was born in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia on February 8, 1929. She was a long time member of St. John Cantius Church. Dolores was a loving, caring person with a beautiful smile and she personified faith, grace and love. Dolores was dedicated to her family. She spent most of her life taking care of and feeding others. And boy could she cook !  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, September 29, 2023 beginning at 9 AM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St. Phila. PA 19137. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. John Cantius Church. Burial to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
