Daniel J. Seladones

August 6, 1960 — April 20, 2021

Daniel J. Seladones passed away at 60 years old on April 20, 2021 in his home. Son of the late Robert J. and Grace M.( nee Hertrich). Seladones. He will be sadly be missed by his daughter, Sandi Seladones (son in law Bryan Howell) and 3 grandchildren, Colin, Aidan and Riley, 3 sons, Daniel, Dennis and Andrew, nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Dear brother of David, Paul and the late Robert and Stephen. His stories of great 8 ball pool feats will be missed at the tables during family functions. He introduced LRC to yearly picnics that sometimes brought the family to a 25 foot long line of tables to try to win a few bucks all while his unscratched lottery tickets would flap in his back pocket. Speaking of lottery, he was a natural! He knew the odds and mostly came out on top each time.
As a Carpenter, Machinst and any other title he ever held, he was a genius at math. Common core doesn't have anything on Dan. He could figure out the most complicated problems and leave you amazed.
His work with the Carpenters Union gave him the most knowledge that he was able to pass on to his son in law. No cutting corners, everything was done perfectly, but slowly.
Most of you know his passion for rc cars, jets and drones. Those things couldn't bring a smile to his face fast enough. He also loved to talk about all of the old cars he owned throughout his life and how his late brother Bob and him would get into trouble around 3rd street where they lived.
Dan will be remembered surely by his smiles, great Action Manufacturing, Peco and Carpenters Union job stories, some of which I'm not sure how he and his workmates survived, and his ability to carry a conversation with every single person that he greets at any table.
One of the most amazing things about Dan is the fact that he could write anything backwards, in cursive, and tell you to hold it up in a mirror to read it. He was a sucker for a good fountain pen. He would also make tiny little origami type boxes for his grandchildren.
Lastly, pointing out the day he passed, I believe he will be pleased knowing we all will recognize 4/20 as being HIS day now going forward.
Rest In Peace Dad, I will miss you forever and always.
