Cynthia Denise Hammel (nee Tasker)

Cynthia passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2025.  Beloved wife of Kenneth E. Hammel, Jr. Devoted mom of Kenneth E. Hammel, III (Jessica), Amanda Burgos and Bobby Hammel.  Loving grandmom of Dillon Hammel, Kaylee Loonstyn, Emma Burgos, Dominic Hammel and Alex Burgos. Daughter of the late Robert and Alice May Tasker.  She will be sadly missed by her sister Donna Bowles (Gary) and her father in law Kenneth E. Hammel Sr. (the late Stella M.).  Cynthia was a very dedicated teacher assistant in working with special needs children. She truly loved and adored her grandchildren and all animals, especially her fur babies.  Cynthia will be dearly missed by her loving family friends and her students. Relatives,friends and fellow colleagues of Bridesburg Elementary School are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 10am-12pm at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila., PA 19137.
