Constance Barbacane

Barbacane, Constance (Connie) nee Smith, passed away on April 27, 2026.

Wife of the late Arthur Barbacane, beloved mother of the late Susan R., the late Arthur J., the late Stephen J. (Cathleen), and Vincent (Sharon). Loving grandmother of Olivia, Nicole, Leah, Matthew, and Amanda. Great-grandmom to Tommy and “Grandmom” to Michael, Chelsea and Bailey. Predeceased by her parents John and Helen Smith, her sister Rita Zaborowski, her brothers John Jr. and Thomas, and her sister-in-laws Frances and Barbara. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing and Mass on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 beginning at 9 A.M. at St. Bartholomew Church, 5600 Jackson St., Phila., PA 19124. Funeral mass to follow at 10:30 A.M. Burial at St. Dominic’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Hospital for Children would be greatly appreciated.
