Clara Acevedo

Clara Acevedo (nee Marrero) passed away on October 30, 2021 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Edwin Acevedo. Loving mother of Natalie J. Acevedo and Edwin L. Acevedo (Angelique). Also sadly missed by her grandchildren Elijah, Jacob, Josiah, Leia and the late Journey Marie Wilson. Dear sister of Jose Marrero (Veronica), Theresa Berrios (Francisco), Carmelo Marrero (Alice), Aurora Hughes (Tim), Lucy Vinhar (Walt), Miriam Sebazo (Johnny), Luis Marrero (Nancy), Nelson Marrero and the late Hector Aponte and Carlos Juan Marrero. Clara was the daughter of the late Antonio Marrero and Elvira Marrero (nee Santiago). Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday, Novemer 8, 2021 beginning at 9 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 1019 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clara's memory to the Lupus Foundation of America, 101 Greenwood Ave., #200, Jenkintown, PA. 19046 would be appreciated by her family.
